Ginger Alvarado, CNAP - gingera@statax.com Ginger has 15 years of experience. She has served as office manager and accountant for local businesses in the area. Ginger has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Virigina’s College at Wise. Ginger has recently obtained her certification as a Certified Not-For-Profit Accounting Professional (CNAP). She is also a certified OuickBooks ProAdvisor and a Quickbooks Point-of-Sale ProAdvisor.

Stephanie Wood - stephaniew@statax.com Stephanie joined the STA staff after spending over four years as a Controller with a private firm. She also has over nine years of additional financial experience with a local manufacturing company. Stephanie has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University. She is also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and will be working to serve our clients with their financial needs.

Roxanne Mullan - roxannem@statax.com Roxanne recently joined the STA staff. Roxanne has over 21 years of various accounting experience. She most recently served as Payroll Manager for a non-profit College and previously worked as Office & Credit Manager for a large food distribution warehouse. Roxanne attended East Tennessee State University where she majored in Business. Roxanne is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor as well.

Robert "Bob" Thomas - bob@statax.com Robert M. Thomas was an original founding partner of STA. Bob has over 40 years of corporate finance and tax experience. He has served two public companies as an Accounting Manager before beginning practice with STA. He has served as Treasurer of a local United Way and serves as Finance Committee Chair for the First Baptist Church of Bluff City. STA continues to utilize Bob's vast experience on a part-time basis in his third retirement. He is active in non-profit services and 990 preparation for STA clients.

Alicson Ault - Alicson recently joined Stanfield, Thomas and Associates.

Judy Stanfield - Judy has several years experience working with STA as a Customer Service Representative. Although she works primarily during the busy tax season, she often assists the staff throughout the year. Her smiling face will be greeting you when you enter our office as she monitors schedules and serves our tax clients.

Stephen C. Stanfield taxmansteve@statax.com The STA staff is under the management and direction of Stephen C. Stanfield, CEBS, SPHR who is principal and owner of STA. Mr. Stanfield has over 30 years of financial and tax experience and has spoken widely on non-profit issues. Mr. Stanfield graduated from ETSU in 1978 and has post-graduate studies with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has served as an adjunct instructor at ETSU and NESTCC. He was a founding partner of Stanfield, Thomas & Associates in 1988. He has served on various non-profit boards and has served as Treasurer of a local United Way and Credit Union. Mr. Stanfield has recently acquired his Enrolled Agent (EA) status with the IRS.
